Recovery run

I felt stronger today but still a little tired so I did another 4 mile recovery run. I did the first 3 miles at about 8:15 pace, and took it easy.  Then ran 1/2 mile at a fast pace (~7:00), and finished the last 1/2 around 8:20. Slightly windy but a sunny day and perfect temperature.
First run in my new shoes.  They felt very snug around my ankles and feet.  I could definitely tell that I had stretched out the uppers on my last pair.
The tingling in my left heel is still there, but I only feel it if I straighten my leg, and pull my toes up.  It's on the outside of the heel.  Probably just a strained tendon or something.  Maybe due to my worn out shoes.  I've iced it tonight and hopefully with no running tomorrow it will feel better.
